OVRDC Fall Full Commission Awards

ILCAO Team Members Awarded at OVRDC Fall Full Commission

The OVRDC Fall Full Commission meeting was held on Friday, September 27, 2024, in Washington Court House, hosted by Fayette County Commissioners welcomed approximately 70 attendees, including OVRDC Board members, staff, commission members and guests, to conduct the business of the commission.

Executive Director Stephanie Gilbert thanked members for their contribution to region-wide growth and the mission to coordinate community and economic development activities which saw a record year of infrastructure project awards for the 12-county service area of southern Ohio.

Board Chair Barry Woodruff recognized the outstanding contributions of several committee members and partners. This included the ILCAO Development team. Community Development Director Michele Throckmorton and Assistant Director Jessica Keeton were presented with the Area Leadership Award!

This year’s Area Leadership Awards honored our region’s successful lead applicants of the transformational Appalachian Community Grant program. The program, which totaled $500 million for Appalachian Ohio communities, was funded by the Ohio Department of Development and the Governor’s Office of Appalachia.
